Mounting Acrylic Prints: Plain or 4-Stud Wall Mount

You've picked your photo, your size, your thickness. The last decision is how the acrylic print attaches to the wall. Remprint offers two options, and the right one depends on your wall and the look you want.
Plain (unmounted)
The print ships as a clean acrylic panel with no mounting hardware. You hang it however you like — picture hooks, your own adhesive strips, or a frame. It's the default, and it adds nothing to the price.
- Best for: rental flats, anyone who already has a hanging solution, or a print that will sit on a shelf or easel
- Cost: included — no extra charge
- Look: the panel sits close to the wall, like a frameless photo
Studs (4-stud wall mount)
Four steel studs (standoffs) pass through holes in the corners of the acrylic and screw into the wall, holding the print 12–18mm off the surface. The gap throws a subtle shadow line, so the print looks like it's floating — the gallery / office-lobby look.
- Best for: living-room feature walls, office receptions, retail — anywhere you want a premium, architectural feel
- Cost: +₹400
- Needs: a wall you can drill into; we pre-drill the acrylic before shipping
- Removes cleanly? Leaves four small wall holes, easily filled and painted over
How to decide
Two questions:
- Can you drill into the wall? If no → plain, and hang it with your own hooks or strips. If yes → studs are worth the ₹400 for the floating look.
- Is this a statement piece? For a feature wall or a gift that should feel special, studs earn their keep. For a smaller print or a shelf, plain is perfect.
