Roll-Up Banner Sizes for Indian Exhibitions and Stalls

Roll-up banners — also called retractable banners or pull-up stands — come in two dominant sizes in India: 85×200 cm and 100×200 cm. Both work for most exhibition stalls. Here's how to pick.
85×200 cm — the standard
The most common roll-up banner size in India. Fits in narrow stall corners, fits inside a typical car boot for transport, and supports almost any design at a normal viewing distance.
- Best for: 2m–wide trade show stalls, narrow corridor placement, conference signage
- Carry weight: ~4 kg with the included carry bag
- Setup time: 30–60 seconds, one-person
100×200 cm — the wider option
15 cm wider. Doesn't sound like much, but the extra width is significant for content-heavy banners (org charts, product feature grids) or stalls with more breathing room.
- Best for: 3m+ wide stalls, banners with grids or tables, premium / executive signage
- Carry weight: ~4.5 kg
- Cost: ~15% more than 85 cm
Non-standard sizes worth knowing
- 60×160 cm — "mini" roll-up. Good for table-top use in reception areas; not big enough for floor-standing exhibition use
- 120×200 cm — wide format, used as a backdrop component or for content-dense corporate signage
- 200×300 cm — extra-large; needs a sturdy stand, less portable, hard to transport
Rule of thumb for content
The roll-up banner has a roughly 60–40 split: the top 60% of vertical space is read from across the room (logo, headline, hero image), the bottom 40% from close-up (details, contact, QR codes). Design with this in mind.
How many to order
- Single stall: 2 banners (front-left and back-right corners)
- Premium / corner stall: 3–4 banners (one per visible side + entrance)
- Conference speaker: 1 banner, generally next to the lectern
