UPI, Cards, Net Banking — Paying for Custom Prints in India

Indian payment options for custom printing have expanded fast. UPI is now the default for most orders, but cards and net banking each have specific advantages. Here's the practical guide.
UPI (the default in 2026)
The fastest, lowest-friction payment method for amounts under ₹1 lakh.
- Best for: all consumer-scale orders — business cards, tent cards, danglers, brochures, gifts
- Instant confirmation — production starts within minutes of payment
- No card details shared — privacy-friendly
- Works on any phone with a UPI app (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
Credit / debit cards
Useful for larger orders or for business buyers needing GST input credit on the card statement.
- Best for: bulk orders ₹50,000+, corporate buyers needing card statements for accounting
- EMI options: Razorpay supports no-cost EMI on partner cards — useful for premium order sizes
- OTP-based 2FA required for all Indian card payments
Net banking
Less common now, but still preferred by some corporate buyers and government / PSU entities.
- Best for: government tenders, PSU orders, formal corporate orders with bank-statement matching requirements
- Limitation: requires logging into your bank — slower than UPI
Wallet-based payments (Paytm Wallet, etc.)
Slowly being replaced by UPI. Still works for:
- Small-value orders (under ₹10,000)
- Users who have wallet balance from cashback they want to spend
Bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS)
Manual bank transfer is still used for:
- Very large orders (₹5 lakh+) where buyers want their own audit trail
- Corporate / B2B settlements where the buyer's procurement process requires bank-routed payment
- International customers (NRIs / Indian-origin businesses overseas)
- Limitation: 1–24 hour delay before payment confirms
What Remprint accepts
All of the above. UPI is the default — we send a Razorpay link in WhatsApp and you pay in 30 seconds. For corporate / large orders, we can also share a bank-transfer link or generate an invoice with GST for input credit. Just mention what payment method you prefer and we'll work with it.
Refund timelines
If a refund is needed (cancellation, damage claim):
- UPI refunds: 1–3 business days back to source UPI
- Card refunds: 3–7 business days; banks vary
- Net banking refunds: 5–10 business days
These timelines are bank-side, not from us. Our part of the refund process happens in minutes; the rest depends on your bank.
